The elevated blood pressure in systemic arterial hypertension is associated with a decline in endothelium-dependent vasodilation, resulting in an overall increase in vascular tone and resistance, the hallmark of the disease.

Techniques available

We propose a wide range of techniques to deliver key end-points: Telemetry, Tail cuff, Isometric wire myography, Pressure myography (this physiological approach allows pressurization of small arteries such that they assume the conformational structure they would achieve in vivo) and Histology.
